Table Tennis Conversion Tops

Table tennis conversion tops allow you to convert your pool table into a pingpong table with very little effort. Lots of people enjoy both pool and table tennis but realistically it's usually not practical to have both a pingpong table and a pool table. Pool tables are huge, heavy and almost never portable. Table tennis tables are usually lighter weight and can collapse, but unless you have a huge recreation room, it's impossible to have both the pool table and pingpong table usable at once.

The most effective way to solve this problem is to buy a table tennis conversion top to add to your pool table. When you are ready to play table tennis, just add the conversion top and set up the table tennis net. It's almost as good as having a normal pingpong table and takes up much less space than the real thing. Most conversion tops come with a full kit that includes the net, several paddles and a few balls.

Some pingpong experts don't like table tennis conversion tops because they don't make the table tennis game at the exact right height for competitive play. That said, I think that anyone who plays table tennis for fun will be satisfied with a conversion top, especially since the alternative is probably not being able to play ping pong at all. In addition the paddles that come with the conversion top are not often of high quality. Expert players won't be interested in using them, and will soon replace them with higher quality paddles from a table tennis supplier.
