Wireless Laptop Mouse

A wireless laptop mouse is a great way to bring some of the ease and convenience to your laptop, especially if you don't like using the trackpad or other mouse-like device that is built into your laptop. You can buy many types of a wireless laptop mouse by searching online or checking any store that sells computer accessories.
With a wireless laptop mouse, you can regain the same control of a desktop mouse even when using your laptop at your desk or on the road. Lots of people keep a wireless mouse at their desk, and other in their computer bags for portable use. It might be tough to use a wireless laptop mouse somewhere like an airplane seat, but it can be a lifesaver when using your laptop in a hotel room or at sales meeting.
There are several different styles of wireless laptop mice available. IF your laptop already has built-in bluetooth or if you have added a bluetooth wireless adaptor, a bluetooth wireless laptop mouse will work easily and won't require you to add anything to your computer to work correctly. Other wireless laptop mouse models work via radio frequencies and require that you plug a small receiver into your USB port. These work well, but the USB adaptor can be annoying since it sticks out and can be broken while the computer is in its case or easily lost since they are small. Older style mice will actually have a mouse ball on the inside for sensing the motion of the mouse. More modern wireless laptop mice track the movement of the mouse optically with a laser or diode inside. These are often lighter in weight and can last longer because they have fewer moving pieces and the inside does not get gummed up with dirt and dust. Many wireless mice now come with a scroll wheel on the mouse which can make it easy to scroll up and down through web pages, email or text documents. A wireless laptop mouse is often somewhat smaller than a normal mouse so that you can tuck it easily in your computer bag. They usually take AA or AAA batteries, or may recharge over a USB connection in some cases.
