The Vespa PX series has been made since the 1970s and is the most classic looking of the Vespa scooters available today. You can easily tell a Vespa PX when you see it on the street through it's classic and elegant lines, its wide front, and the enclosed engine. Even if you buy your Vespa PX new, many people will think that it is in good condition and was originally purchased in the 1970s or 1980s because it has a vintage feel to it. The technology has not changed much since the 70s either: the Vespa PX still has a manual 4 speed transmission which isn't as convenient as an automatic transmission but is easy to learn: it's nothing like having to learn to drive a manual stick car!
