If you have never owned a scooter or motorcycle, it's wise to take a safety class which can give you a variety of advice which will help you to be as safe as possible when cruising around town.

Some moto scooters are safe to use on the freeway and highway. Others have limited power and are recommended for city use only. In general, a motoschooter with a larger engine will be more expensive. If you never need to leave town, you may be able to save money by buying a moto scooter with a smaller engine. If you live in a city with lots of hills, be sure that the scooter you are buying is powerful enough to negotiate the ups and downs of your city streets.
