A jet washer is an ideal way to clean off outdoor surfaces and walls which have a built-up of dirt and grime with a high-pressure stream of water. You can search online to buy a jet washer many places on the internet, check home improvement stores in your town, and even rent one if you don't foresee using it often.

With a jet washer, you can easily and quickly clean large surfaces which would be almost impossible to clean by hand. For example, I could easily clean a small parking lot or the walls of a house in an hour or so with my jet washer. They work very simply: using an electric motor or a gas engine, they compress water which comes in through a hose. This water can be released through a thin gun by pressing a small trigger handle. The water comes out fast enough to clean the grime out of the pavement or to dislodge dirt has built up on a wall. Because the water goes everywhere, a jet washer is typically used outside only.

A jet washer meant for home use can be purchased affordably and is small enough to carry by hand and keep in the garage. Industrial jet washers are larger in size and can deliver water at high rates. In fact, a jet washer can be used to remove paint from a building! Needless to say, jet washers can be dangerous and the operator should use eye and perhaps ear protection as well. You should be sure to operate it in an area where no one is nearby: the compressed stream from the jet washer can injure someone's eyes or even remove skin at high pressures!

An electric jet washer will be more compact in size and quite quiet, but is only convenient to use when you have easy access to an electrical outlet. A gas powered jet washer is larger in size and louder because it has a gas engine to compress the water, but can be more easily used in places where you don't have electricity and don't want to run a long extension cord.

You can buy jet washers in various sizes and various amounts of power for jobs ranging from cleaning your driveway at home all the way up to removing paint from a steel building. Search around to find the best deals on a jet washer near you!
