Industrial Blenders

An industrial blender is the right choice for someone looking to add a blender to their commercial kitchen, or even someone looking for a kitchen blender which has lots of power and should last for years. Check online for places where you can get a good deal on an industrial blender. You may also be able to purchase one at a commercial restaurant supply in your hometown, though it will probably be more expensive than buying it online.

In a commercial kitchen or restaurant, an industrial blender is critical. A cheap household blender is too small for restaurant kitchens, doesn't have enough power, and most importantly, won't hold up over time to continuous daily usage. In contrast, an industrial blender is designed for all of these characteristics and should serve your restaurant or kitchen well for years before having issues. If it stops working as well, the fix may be as simple as replacing the blade since they can get dull over time and this will impact how well the blender works.

An increasing number of households are buying an industrial blender too. The main reasons are the normal household blenders are usually underpowered which means they may stall or break on difficult tasks like crushing ice or blending frozen fruit. Most household blenders just are not built particularly well either: with constant use, they will break down in one to two years time, while an industrial blender should serve you well for years to come. The commercial version will probably be easier to clean with fewer pieces, and will probably be built better so that tipping it over will not break it.

Industrial blenders are typically simpler than a household blender. The industrial version may have as many as 3 settings: off, high, and low power. This is sufficient for virtually everything. In contrast, many household blenders have 10 or more buttons with different settings. These may look appealing in the store but realistically they are not really any more useful than the low and high settings on industrial blenders. You can also look at the horsepower ratings of the two types: the commercial version will often have a 1 HP motor, while the household version may only have a 1/4 HP motor. You'll feel the difference when a household blender has trouble crushing ice while the industrial blender grinds through it like it's not even there.

Look online for the best prices on industrial blenders and read reviews to see which ones people like best. Try to read reviews written by real chefs who use their blenders everyday and typically exert more demand on their blenders than most home cooks will ever do. Enjoy your industrial blender and create delicious food and drinks with the confidence that your blender may outlast you! A good companion is a cordless blender for use when you don't have access to electricity.
