Cheap Table Tennis

Everyone is looking for cheap table tennis solutions online. It's a great game to play, but it can be expensive to purchase the required equipment and, often equally challengingly, it can take up lots of space. You can look online to find good deals on cheap table tennis equipment, or also search your local retail gaming and sporting good stores as well.
One excellent approach to getting cheap table tennis equipment is to buy all the equipment you need used. The basic necessary equipment is a table tennis table, a net, at least two pingpong paddles and a few table tennis balls. I'd check on craigslist for a cheap table tennis table which may already come with a net, some paddles, and even a few balls. You can probably find this for less than $100 in your neighborhood, and honestly, the hardest part of this approach is getting a rather large table from where you found it to your house or apartment. You might also consider watching sales at stores in your area for close-out or demo deals - these might have a few scratches or be last year's model but almost certainly you'll never notice this while playing!
Another popular way to get cheap table tennis equipment is to not even own it at all! Check your neighborhood for a recreation center or even a table tennis club which may already own several tables that you can use. This may require a membership or possibly an hourly and daily fee, but this way, you don't need to buy the table and don't need the space to store it yourself. The downside is that the recreation club may not be open at 2 am when you get the urge to play table tennis!
You may also consider finding a friend who already owns or is interested in buying pingpong tables. Using a friend's equipment is cheapest and will probably cost you nothing! Common courtesy suggests that perhaps you can buy him or her some new balls once in a while, or give them a nice paddle for their birthday. Either way, this will be tons less expensive than owning your own table! The downsides are that likely you can't walk into their house or apartment and play whenever you want: It's less convenient than owning your own equipment.
Table tennis is a rewarding game but people are often discouraged by the cost. This article has shown you several ways to find or use cheap table tennis equipment and tables in order to play your new favorite game without purchasing or storing a huge table!

Haha, my cousins did that as well. Homemade tables are great but they eventually break. I liked mine but I love my real table now.

these are pretty good ideas. growing up, my dad cut two pieces of wood that was about an inch and a half thick. They were a bit smaller than a regulation table, but they worked just as well. He then put a smooth finish on the two pieces and put them on top of our picnic table to make our very own pingpong table. It was a great cheap way to keep my brother and I occupied for hours on end
