Cheap Laser Printers

By

Many households and businesses are searching for cheap laser printers which can quickly produce attractive and high quality printed documents at an affordable price. Many businesses choose to search online in order to find the best possible deal on the cheapest laser printers.

Cheaper laser printers will differ in a few ways from more average priced or more expensive laser printers. First, they can often be slower: it requires a lot of computation for the printer to print each page of text and a less expensive printer won't be able to do this efficiently and will take longer. If you don't print too much and can afford to wait a few more seconds per document, this slower speed will probably have no effect on your business. Less expensive laser printers may also have a lower resolution which means that the printing quality and smoothness may be lower. Practically, even a low resolution laser printer will be able to print beautiful text and will be perfectly acceptable for the majority of business documents. If you print a lot of graphics or photos, a lower resolution printer may not work as well. Finally, a cheap printer may simply be not as well built and may have more frequent paper jams, maintenance needs, or even for parts to be replaced periodically.

Often the cheapest laser printers are purchased pre-owned or used. Often someone else will buy an expensive laser printer and then decide to sell it later for one reason or another like needing cash or deciding that perhaps an ink jet printer is superior for their needs. If you are a careful buyer, you can often find a great deal by buying the printer on the used market. There are a few things to look at carefully when buying a used printer. First, understand the new cost of the printer since of course you never want to pay a price for a used printer if you could buy a new one for the same price! Try to understand how much it has been used and if it has has any problems. A printer that was barely used is the ideal one to find. A printer which was used for a 1000 pages per day may already have problems or will be prone to breaking in the future due to over use. One of the most expensive parts of owning a laser printer is the toner cartridge which is usually expensive to replace. Ask how new the toner cartridge is: If it's less than half full, look up how much it costs to buy a new one and consider this when considering the price. On the other hand, you may be able to find a cheap used laser printer which includes a couple of unused cartridges: this can make it an even better deal.

You can search online to find the best deals on cheap new laser printers. Printer technology has become great these days so even a cheaper printer will probably serve your needs just fine and can be much less of a risk to purchase than buying a printer used.
